GYPSY is an 18 mth corgi x collie recently rescued by the Humane Society.
She is a lovely girl who also loves playing with other dogs and has been fine with the resident cat in our foster home. However, she may well chase if a cat ran from her, so maybe not worth the risk.
She loves tummy rubs and going for walks, but can be jumpy when excited.
Her forever home could be with a family with children over 8 years, only because she is jumpy as above or an energetic couple who were able to include her in their daily activities.
She will need some human companionship, as most do, and/or perhaps another dog to play with as wouldn’t do well being left for long periods of time on her own.
GYPSY has been vet-checked, spayed, vaccinated microchipped and is currently registered so we ask a minimum DONATION of $200 towards these costs.
Her new owner must have a securely fenced property as per above, which a volunteer from the Society will check prior to her being released to her new home.
You will also need to meet her at our foster home in Manurewa as we WILL NOT send dogs anywhere and must meet all prospective owners.
Our aim is to adopt each dog to a compatible owner. The Humane Society reserves the right to decline any dog adoption application at its discretion.
