BUFFY is a lovely 9 mth old staffy x, weighing around 15kgs, rescued by the Humane Society and now looking for the right home
She is cuddly/affectionate and has typical terrier traits, so no cats, small animals or first time dog owners – experienced owners only
She is recovering from separation anxiety and doesn’t do well being left for long periods, with how long depending on various factors. She’s looking for a patient home that will provide daily exercise, commit to ongoing training and provide strict boundaries/structure to ensure she doesn’t relapse.
She needs to live with another stable dog (size is not an issue for her), she does play rough at times but also enjoys snuggling. She could live with dog savvy kids aged 13+ and must have 1.8 metre fencing with no gaps.
BUFFY has been vet-checked, spayed, vaccinated microchipped and is currently registered so we ask a minimum DONATION of $200 towards these costs.
Her new owner must have a securely fenced property as per above, which a volunteer from the Society will check prior to her being released to her new home.
You will also need to meet her at our foster home in Helensville as we WILL NOT send dogs anywhere and must meet all prospective owners.
Our aim is to adopt each dog to a compatible owner. The Humane Society reserves the right to decline any dog adoption application at its discretion.
